Strawberry Fields X PBS 106.7FM DJ Competition applications are now closed.

Strawberry Fields is committed to supporting the underground, independent and electronic music scene in Australia whilst providing a platform for audiences to discover new music. It’s not often you get the opportunity to perform for 13,000+ people in the beautiful Australian bush and this year we open applications for DJs in partnership with PBS 106.7FM.

Applications will be judged by a panel of individuals from across Strawberry Fields and PBS 106.7FM based on their originality, creativity, volume of soundcloud likes and alignment with the Strawberry Fields brand and community. The successful acts will be offered the opportunity for national exposure and inclusion on Strawberry Fields’ international-heavy lineup for 2024.

Prize inclusions:

1x DJ slot on the Wildlands stage at Strawberry Fields Festival 15-17 November 2024 following the opening ceremony and Welcome to Country.
1x PBS 106.7FM on-air campaign worth $550 to run between 8 August - 8 September 2024 to support a show or music release
PBS prize pack including t-shirt and more
Short-listed winners will be invited to a pre-Strawberry Resident Advisor party with a select Artist from the SF24 line-up

Please note this Application is only open to DJs based in Victoria and NSW, Australia.

Please adhere to following guidelines with your application:

Applicants to create a ‘Celebrating 15 Years of Strawberry Fields’ application mix publicly hosted on Soundcloud
Naming convention to follow: ‘DJ name - Celebrating 15 Years of Strawberry Fields Application’
Mix must be no longer than 45-60 minutes
There are no strict genre guidelines to follow, however be conscious that this is an opening set in the early afternoon following our Welcome to Country ceremony, so music selection/bpm should be tailored accordingly
